A touch of butterscotch on the nose. Light gold in color. Some mineral notes and a touch apricot. Resolved and mature… but still glossy and complete with sweet edges.

Pale lemon with stone fruit aromas, citrus and toasty notes. On the palate flavors of apple and pear, with citrus and spice, vivid acidity. Medium finish ending with creamy citrus mineral character.

In a world full of inexpensive chardonnays this wine stands out. Great acidity, 🍋, and honey dew melon. Well balanced. Simple but elegant.

Am a big fan of Carneros wines (Chardonnays and Pinots). Too often overshadowed by their neighbors to the north. This 2013 has a nice round mouthfeel, but isn't overly buttery or oaked.

2011 vintage is awesome. The butteriness is strong, but not overpowering; other notes are well imbued

Acacia was a pioneer in Carneros making one of the first Pinot's. Located just 2 miles from San Francisco Bay, the cool microclimate from the Pacific results in a Chardonnay that is complex. Straw with stone and citrus flavors. On the palate apple, peach and lemon zest with spice and oak notes. Silky, medium body and length ending with mineral tones. Nice value.

A medium bodied, lightly creamy Chard, this wine has restrained flavors: a twist of lemon, a splash of honey, a touch of ginger. Good turkey burger wine!
