First time having the rosé. Real clean. Smells of fresh strawberries and cotton candy but drinks real dry. Nice rosé

Great #rose #grenache from #southafrica this producer has given me some #brett surprises in the past. (He's a chicken farmer as well as a wine maker) but this is clean and expressive and I loved it

Deep salmon pink. Reductive at first, with a sharp sulfur top note. After 30 minutes of air, the aromas suggest mint, watermelon, yellow peach, and strawberry, although they’re still tinged with a reductive, tarry edge. The palate, moderately coating, is ripe with pink berries and crushed spearmint. After a day of air, the wine has finally relaxed and the fruit and herbs stand forward. Still, I'm not sure America is ready for a rosé that needs decanting. 46% Cinsault, 38% Syrah, 8% Grenache, 8% Carignan; 12.5% abv

Seriously high acid. Unwashed fresh raspberries picked a day too early. Pretty fun.

Of 8 different rosés that I had, this was one of the best. Surprised, because I know South Africa doesn't export any of the good stuff. Some must have slipped through.

Nice little blend of mostly cinsault. South Africa is making moves.
