This wine exudes femininity and complexity. Layers of thought-provoking aromas and flavors. Light and agile but strong. A revelation. Beautiful.

Cool wine, this, displaying the whole gamut of sweet red fruit I find so enticing in well-made, young grenache. Strawberry jam, ripe ripe bing cherry, orange peel, rose water, and bubblegum. Fruit is just this side of cloying. Voluptuous texture but a surprising amount of tannic backbone keeps it in check. Whereas so much 'new california' wine is defined by what it isn't - overoaked, super-ripe - this seems like one of the few that's defined by what it is: an honest and full expression of great fruit, carefully handled.

Beautiful color, sour cherry, orange rind on the nose and elegance up front but the alcohol is coming through a bit much on the end of the midpalate and finish.

Sittin' pretty. Highlands Grenache that's so vibrant, and elegant on the palate.

Checking in a the last couple of bottles I have. This was an absolute aromatic stunner. So much dried aromas of flowers, spices, herbs and red fruits beginning to show. All the while the wine maintains this impeccable freshness to it. I've never been disappointed with this wine but tonight it was singing. Delicate and ethereal. Never would guess it's sitting at 14.4% abv.

If you've ever worried about what might happen to these wines once the delicate, ripe and precise fruit start to pull back: don't. There's plenty of texture and spice and earth ready to step forward and fill the space. Wow.

Magic. Such a pure expression of Grenache, somehow maintaining ripe fruit without succumbing to hot, raisinated booziness. At a nice point in its evolution.

Such pure fruit without oxidation or booziness. Delicate, feminine side of Grenache without sacrificing density or ripeness. Magic balancing act. These wines stand alone.
