The Rare Barrel Forces Unseen Golden Sour Beer

Holy shite. Amazing blended sour ale. Pitch perfect. Exceptionally long finish. A subtle and complex masterpiece.

Insanely good sour ale from the Bay Area.

I remember having various vintages of this on draft at the brewery and always thinking it is one of their best beers. Now having a 6 year old bottle conditioned version, it is one of the best beers I’ve ever had. Classic rare barrel bret/vinegar flavor, tons of peach, guava, then pineapple on the finish. I also get tart limes but also tart cherries or cherry pits. If they have any of this left for the covid sale you should pick it up.
