Called 19 Crimes b/c committing one of 19 in UK, you were sent to Australia. The Warden is a Shiraz-based red blend (can’t find the rest of the blend, even the US distributor didn’t know…maybe it’s a Crime!) Deep dark purple red with aromas of blue & red fruits with spicy notes. The palate shows cherry & plum flavors, with cinnamon spice and leather notes. A big wine with big tannins that needs a few minutes to breathe. Medium finish ends with cacao & black pepper on the finish. Tasting Sample.

Jan 27th, 2017Hints of spice on the nose. Blackberry jam and cassis on the pallet. Young wine, but relatively smooth and approachable. Good QPR.
