Crushed wild strawberries, lavender and cedar shavings form an inviting bouquet as the 2021 Pinot Noir VGR blossoms in the glass. This opens with a lovely inner sweetness, casting ripe red fruits across a cooling acid core. It finishes long and potent yet with admirable freshness, leaving hints of licorice and the slightest tug of fine tannin. This is a fun and energetic Pinot geared toward accessibility. The VGR (very good red) blends three vineyards: Shea, Stardance and Rich Hermann. (Eric Guido, Vinous, January 2024)

Nose, Crisp bright red cherries, strawberries, raspberry. Entry is mellow and light, mid is tart and fresh, pomegranate hibiscus, finish builds with slight tart and dryness (in a good way), leaving mouth coated in bright red refreshing fruit and hints of green stem. VERY esy and enjoyable to drink.
