My second favorite of the night - a blend of Nerello Mascalese from his 4 highest vineyards - all > 870 M - and 90 year old fines, my notes read : rocky forest floor, red juicy cherry, firm tannins #etnavino #vulcanterroir

Can be hard to find Mt. Etna wine in the states so I pounced on this when I saw it. Delicate red with subtle flavors of raspberry and cherry. Paired well with disdain and anxiety at the Super Tuesday results, but I also imagine this would be a great and versatile food wine. Light enough for midday sampling. Great #QPR — 9 years ago
First time with non Cru Munjebel - won't be the last time - believe the hype, Frank Cornelissen's wines are the truth, and part of that truth is eating it with local gastronomy. #vulcanterroir #frankcornelissen — 8 years ago
The people's champ of Etna does it again with the 2014 vintage. #vulcanterroir #qpretna — 9 years ago
Etna Rosato from NerMasc? Don't mind if I do. #vulcanterroir #qprfordays — 9 years ago
The highlight of a star studded night, an elusive and limited blend of Perricone/Nero D'Avola 66/33, this bad boy had me swimming in dark red tartarian cherry and velvety tannins, perfect with local Etna involtino #ensconced #thanksBT — 8 years ago
Unique Fiano varietal native to Etna, exuberant light-medium bodied with refreshing grapefruit and honey suckle with sexy acidity #vulcanterroir — 9 years ago
A younger NerMasc with some earthiness and red berries to it, can tell it didn't spend a ton of time in oak, will be outstanding in a few years, great value for #vulcanterroir #qpronthetown #Etna — 9 years ago
Very interesting Etna Rosato - drinks more like a red than a white, first taste is surprising, almost like a kick in the crotch, the 3rd and subsequent tastes are as delightful as a Saturday afternoon backdoor cover. #vulcanterroir — 9 years ago

Gotta be in the running for the top bottle under $20. Fantastic wine. Berries on the breeze, liquid rocks, and a dirt road. — 7 years ago
