I was worried about a high volume Spanish house like Marqués de Cáceres producing a Rías Biaxas but this was delicious. A little less saline than I’ve tasted with other examples in this appellation but still refreshing, lemon-lime notes, crisp, low ABV, paired well with a chilled herby shrimp appetizer and BLT + 🍳 sandwich. #albariño #ríasbaixas — 6 months ago

Pure electricity! Although a bit more jagged, this Albariño has concentration that trends toward Sketch. Acid heads should appreciate the cut that this citrus bomb asserts with heaps of lemon, lime zest, grapefruit and golden melon. There’s an underlying component of wet stone and white flower aromas that compliment the briny, sea salt subtleties on the nose and palate...hallmarks of benchmark Albariños. This wine screams for a bowl of mussels, charred octopus and an ocean breeze. Good stuff.

90 Albariño, 5 Caino, 5 Loureiro; Rosal is a tiny appellation situated right where the Mino River empties into the Atlantic Ocean. Intensely saline, almost iodized. Densely textured, with powerful aromas/flavors of wet stones, sea spray, ripe citrus. Tiny bit of trapped CO2 + bracing (and appropriate) acidity. #rosal #ríasbaixas #couselo — 6 years ago

Beguiling #ríasbaixas - exactly what you expect of this region. Lemon, white peach, orchard fruit nose. Airy, crisp on the palate, some green herbal notes, such a refreshing and delicious #albariño — 5 months ago
