My first wine of an incredible tasting! A beautiful nose of plump roasted red and black plums, dark chocolate, black pepper, spice and touch of oak. The palate opens up to a velvet texture that is tight but has a core of black fruits and wet stone surrounded by a savory component that holds on to a long finish. #mwtasting — 9 years ago

Trying to taste this wine objectively was no small feet! Medium intensity on the nose of elegance focusing on blackberries, currants, coffee, crushed rock and leather. The palate was rich and concentrated with a medium + flavor intensity of black plums, blueberries, ripe blackberries, spice, black pepper, sweet tobacco and wet stone.
