Lovely color, watermelon, pomegranate and fresh acidity. What a treat for New Year’s Day. #fatcork — 5 years ago
Celebrating this beautiful Saturday evening in TX with a 2011 #growerbubbles #brutnature . We preceded this bottle with an NV Moët White Star so it was really interesting to taste the contrast. Soft citrus and apple aroma - notable for the lack of yeasty notes. Compared to the Moët house style blend, this was razor sharp in its precision in the palate: pear, apple, touch of lemon held up by softer effervescence and loads of crushed minerals and generous lift from acidity. Delicious crisp bubbles on a historic day. #fatcork — 4 years ago
Precise, tart, delicate cherry fruit on this producer #rosechampagne from #fatcork. Great way to start the evening’s celebration for my wife’s birthday.

Dependably enjoyable #grandcruchampagne 2012: yeasty nose, laid back citrus and some wet stone aromas. Still vigorous fine bubbles on the palate, nicely balanced but definitely tending towards very dry. Paired marvelously with a lentil soup starter and Cacio e Pepe rigatoni with sautéed shrimp dining al fresco (BYOB with reasonable corkage fee FTW!) on a relatively pleasant early summer evening in Houston. While a very nice bottle of bubbly, I must admit I was expecting a bit more verve given the GC vintage label. #fatcork — a year ago
