Celebrating this beautiful Saturday evening in TX with a 2011 #growerbubbles #brutnature . We preceded this bottle with an NV Moët White Star so it was really interesting to taste the contrast. Soft citrus and apple aroma - notable for the lack of yeasty notes. Compared to the Moët house style blend, this was razor sharp in its precision in the palate: pear, apple, touch of lemon held up by softer effervescence and loads of crushed minerals and generous lift from acidity. Delicious crisp bubbles on a historic day. #fatcork
