Vintage 2017 / Oenologist Pierre Ardoin from the University of Bordeaux owns a wine estate on the right bank, 2 km away from the city of Blaye. From his 22 ha he uses only one for the white wine made from #sauvignonblanc #blayecôtesdebordeaux #bordeaux A very expressive smell with buxus, wagonloads of gooseberry. It’s a wine that fools my brain (springtime!). Very vivid, good acidity. Quaffable! Very true to type sauvignon blanc. Frivolous. Partnered it with a salad with smoked chicken, mango, walnuts and pomegranate. — 5 years ago
