May 10th, 2026Classic wine, big name, but overall disappointing compared to other super Tuscans we have had recently. Would certainly stock a few in our cellar, but not something we would readily reach for. Not much complexity on the nose or the finish. Perhaps we just caught a bad year with the 2022. Willing to try again. From what we have been reading would benefit from a few hours of aeration and also a few years the cellar.  Will enjoy a few cocktails with our meal and try it again towards the middle.
