Super funky. This wine is WILD. It’s got some super ripe fruit AND it has some really pungent mushroom and dirt. It’s got an exotic flair to it. We only had about a 1.5 decant but it sorta popped between an Amarone, a Turley, and a sherry. Paired with lamb in the grill. WILD.

Funk in a glass! This thing deserves ribs, a burger with smoked cheese, or lamb stew. On the nose: barnyard funk, olives, hint of black fruit. On the tongue: leather and funk. Could just be a post covid palate, but would like to see a little more fruit. Decant for at least an hour when this young.
