The 7th wine from the Downs Club Italian Dinner and from 375ml bottle. Would swear this was fortified but only 13% alcohol. 55% Malvasia, 45% Trebbiano. Colour of tawny burnt orange. More nutty notes over the dried fruits and dry citrus peel. Sweet - to be expected with diminishing acid. An excellent dessert style or to go with cheeses.

2009 Isole e Olena #VinSanto offered golden sultanas, honey, canned mandarins, apricot preserves…was rich w/o being heavy…phenomenal w Stilton!
