Savory & mineral. Light refracted through stone. Medium acidity. Creamy finish. Closed, but nice with a decant.

A much fresher face of Chenin, without the honeyed breadth but with what depth & purity!
Green apples, fresh lemon, freshly cut hay & herbs... a touch of beeswax after a while. Super fresh on the palate, with core of juicy, vibrant acidity, with layers of crisp fruit and envigourating minerality woven around it. This will surely gain complexity with time but is already beautiful now.

Wow! 1st bottle of Guiberteau and I am dazzled! Hits all the textbook chenin notes, but scintillating, race-y, bright sun reflecting on water... extremely flinty, lithe, slight stonefruit & citrus rind, but the tropicalia is demure. The tightrope balance was a thrill, approaching real precision laser beam territory! V bella!
