Cs Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon
Tried it before it went into our beef Bourgogne, where it “paired” nicely.

Feb 6th, 2022This Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon is always enjoyable. Showing blackberries, coffee, chocolates, oak, vanilla, licorice, spices, tobacco, light herbs and peppercorn.
Full bodied with medium acidity.
Nice length on the finish with round tannins.
Good right out of the bottle, and better with airtime. 30 minutes is enough.
Nicely balanced and fruit forward.
Good by itself or with food.
89 points.
14% alcohol by volume.

Great QPR. Well balanced. Oak wasn’t too judicious. Cassis and berries.

Medium nose of black and blue fruits with some spice and a bit of herbaceousness as well. Big, but balanced with cassis, blueberry, and a bit of spice all backed by medium plus tannins. Long finish and great balance. I can't think of too many good cabs for under $20, and this one delivers for closer to $10. Incredible value.

2.8. Washington State Cabernet Sauvignon, not very complex and not very tasty. Sold for $14.29. I don’t recommend it.

Jan 25th, 2022Layered and nuanced with notes of cassis, cherry and tobacco. Palate is full and earthy with a long finish.
