2018 has an excellent balance and intensity, not quite as authentically authoritative as the 2016 and 2017 but maybe even purer and more symmetrical.

So fresh, ripe, and meaty. Ripe raspberries and cherries. Really pleasant acidity and tartness. Some herbal notes too. Medium+ tannins. Probably my favourite Sangiovese I’ve had so far. Love this wine!!

Chianti’s answer to Cos Frappato. The brightest signature Sangiovese cherry glow - naked. Tingly acid and minerals at 11.5%. Sour bright red cherry, mint, menthol, cedar.
