Shafer Winemaker Elias Fernandez & his “relentless” pursuit of quality. A blend of 86% Syrah & 14% Petite Sirah, shows a lush & rich wine. Aged for 30 months, 100% new French oak, deep Ruby with aromas of dark berry fruit & hint of smoke and sweet spice. On the palate flavors of blackberry, plum & blueberry with notes of vanilla, cacao and smoke. Fine silky tannins, long finish, great mouthfeel ending with fruit, herbs and spice. One of the best Syrah’s tasted. Aging well!

Good right out of the bottle and better after 2 hours of airtime.
Rich and extracted. Fruit forward and spicy.
Full bodied and bold with medium acidity.
Showing black fruits with cedar vanilla leather spices tobacco, herbs, light vegetables, chocolate coffee peppercorn
Jammy a bit and still young. Needs 5 years in the bottle to mature properly.
