Blend of 61% Cabernet Sauvignon, 26% Merlot, 5% Cabernet Franc and 8% Petit Verdot, aged in 40% new French oak, deep Ruby red with aromas of red and black fruits, cigar box and cedar spice. On the palate flavors of black raspberry, plum and black cherry with cacao, toasty oak and tobacco. Fine tannins, long finish ending with fruit, cedar and earthy tobacco spice. Drinking well now and will continue to develop!

The 2017 Gloria was cropped at 48hl/ha and the Grand Vin comprises 65% of the total production. It has a generous bouquet with red berry fruit, warm bricks and light tobacco aromas that gently unfold in the glass. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, a pretty and understated Gloria. A classic tobacco and bay leaf finish does not quite kick on like other recent vintages. Nevertheless, this is a delicious Saint-Julien that will give 20 years of drinking pleasure. (Neal Martin, Vinous, February 2020)

Medium red. Aromatic red fruit, with floral and licorice influence on the nose. Palate is complicated nicely with grilled meat, and a hint of green bell pepper and white pepper. Nice weight. Relaxed tannins. Medium plus alcohol. Not overly complex, may improve some, but I wouldn't expect a huge change.

Deep purple color. Aromas of blackberry, licorice, cola and red bricks. Loads of black and red fruit on the palate and cigar box finish.
