Ruby with aromas of red fruits, floral and sweet spicy earthy oak. On the palate flavors of raspberry, strawberry and currants with lavender and vanilla notes. Medium tannins with racy acidity, great mouthfeel on a medium finish. Drink now, it’s great!

Thyme and medicinal herb, sour cherry and raspberry, subtle orange peel, earthy spice reminiscent of premier burg. Delicate and restrained upfront, shines after 30+ min.

Way too fruit forward for my palate. Lacked the subtlety and depth I’d usually associate with a Pinot. Not better after same time to breathe.

Greywacke Marlborough Pinot Noir 2017: Medium-bodied. Medium acidity. Light tannins. Intense red fruit & spice aromas. Delicious ripe fruit flavors of raspberry, strawberry, cranberry & plum; soft notes of leather, smoke & oak and a long, spicy finish. All in all, this was a very enjoyable & pleasant wine. New Zealand Pinots are not a regular, “go to“ wine for me and this wine reminded me that its been way too long! This is the kind of wine that will make me change that mentality. Loved the uniqueness! Loved the robust flavors! Have a great day! Cheers 🇳🇿🍷

At first sip I fell in love with the delicate flavors of violet and blueberries with hints of vanilla. After 1/2 a glass it seemed to pick up a bit more of the sour red fruit, while still good 1 glass was enough.
