Finally got to try this iconic blend. Wonderfully balanced, smooth, and well structured. Perfect with our Christmas Eve dinner before heading out to Asia.

Really great red blend. It opened up after 20-30 minutes to lush, juicy red berries, cocoa, and tobacco with a zesty acidity. Loved it.

A bit tart but tastes of dark fruit flavors. Smooth finish with nice tannins. Very enjoyable.

Bordeaux blend from Paso Robles. Blackcurrant, cherry, a little bit of ripe red pepper, black tea, and toasted oak. Medium tannins on the palate. Texture is not quite as velvety as I’d expect from this style. Full bodied (perhaps slightly on the lighter side).
