A lovely balanced Pinot for an unbalanced Oscars so white night. Surprisingly rich and deep berries but with so much fun spice. Methinks maybe this spent some time in a wee bit of new oak too—but mainly I love the white pepper and baking spice fun on it.

Really tight, at first... searing acidity. Mellowed after a while. #lastglassbest

Underwhelming Pinot. Not much flavor or aroma. Just kind of dull and uninteresting. Meh. Had it for CNY, then had it again 2 days later. No noticeable improvement. Uncle Dan thought it was nice.

59.99 from total wine. Initially a bit bright but after 30 min in the decanter, it brings out sweet ending. Quite interesting. Good but I don’t think I would spend that much again. It is my 51 years birthday bottle.
