Estate Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Just concluded our annual Fall seclusion into the Rangeley lakes region of Maine, mobile service up there is mostly non-existent, after several days I am posting again.

Nose of cedar-cherry. Palate has mocha-cherry, tannins are round and very enjoyable at this young age. Almost Zinfandel like.

Luscious black fruit and vanilla aromas. Blackberry cobbler. Linear, but lush and velvety. #turleywinecellars

Like chewing on an oak tree

Scents of mocha on open. Black cherry, dark chocolate. This would have benefitted from a long decant. Smooth and lush. This will be a beauty in a few years!

Bought a case at Winemaker Dinner at Capitol Cellars. Young but will be exceptional.

I really like this. Medium-bodied with a supple, elegant structure. Mixed berries with hints of pipe tobacco and sandalwood. An excellent value as well.

Like a silk stocking! Evocative and ultra smooth. Rarely have I had such a young wine with such balanced tannins. Turley needs to make more Cabernet!!!! Great #QPR

Fruit forward (all the berries and jam yummy) a silky smooth mouth feel and long , full dimension finish... would probably age well but my stash won’t survive Christmas
