Langhe Freisa

Took two days to open and reveal its layers; beautiful high toned florals of pot pourri, musk, poached strawberry, blue fruits and touches of anise.

Cool berries, wild strawberries, blue laffy taffy, sweet medicinal herbs, potpourri and alpine goodness. Great high-toned fruit, youthful, carbonic (?). Always love the fresh and gritty tannins of Freisa. What a great value.

Super fresh and juicy...great pizza wine and deal.

Better the second and even the third day. Floral, fruity, but rich tannins. On the palate spice, blackberry, tar, pepper. Nice finish but the tannins are a bit green. Needs a couple years to soften.

Very ripe, no wonder it is popular, everything popular is wrong.

Little bit of everything. Smokey, dark fruit, eucalyptus?, and tannins that don’t let go.

Dark and tannic. Slate, leather, cherry stems, black olives, damp earth, a little smoky. Maybe liked it most when first opened? From Flatiron Wines.
