UV-SL Vineyard Chardonnay

15’ Aubert UV-SL Chardonnay. Drinking in it youth. Personally I would drink them all up!

Splitting hairs yearly between the Lauren/UV- SL/CIX Chardonnay’s. Year after year consistently fantastic! 

These Aubert Chardonnays are so consistently delicious. Bright, mouthwatering lemon notes balanced by a creamy smoothness on the palate. Lovely.

Past it’s prime. Very surprising...

Pop and pour. A brilliant light gold color. On the nose: apple, lemon, floral, saline, and apricot. Taste: creamy, dense wine with Asian pear, hard lemon candy, minerals, saline, crushed stone and a white pepper/lemon peel/oak medium plus finish. Acidity seems a little lite...drink em if you got em.

After 30 mins of air it was ready to go….delicious.

Love the juxtaposition yet perfect interplay, paired with a humble homemade chicken pot pie.

So very very great!

Reminds of the2013 Ferren Silver eagle both nose & palate. Which makes that Ferren an even better deal at $60.00

Wow, utterly delicious. So many layers of flavor. Lemon curd, a bit of vanilla, shortbread, all held together with impeccable balance.
