Cool and poised on the nose. Graphite, dark fruit, meatiness. On the palate this is resolved and smooth. Very rich but for the first time really integrated. Iron, dark fruit, cedar notes. salinity. Delicious and classy

Classic for era/time period. Wines are arguably a step up in more recent vintages with Bio farming and all the additional knowledge and experience time provides.

Bright nose, jumps out of the glass, fresh. Balanced with a long finish, fine integrated tannins, not a deep dark wine, but lively and delicate

2000 nice evolution fresh earth red currants and cassis very complex bouquet cigar box. Very smooth and balanced but still has a good hand of tannins red currant exotic spice sand a long layered finish 50+ most excellent 2006 very forward and fruity bouquet light smoke cigar box and fresh earth smooth and evolved on the palate very smooth drinking nicely right now. Finish 45+ excellent + 2010 first certification year lovely complexity toasty oak spice dark currant and coffee fresh earth very well endowed tannins are a bit hard but lots of everything and a long finish 50+ killer

Deep garnet color. Herbal nose of sage, green pepper and lead pencil backed up by sour cherries and dark fruit. Soft and plush palate, with the fruit shining through but ending with a more herbal and leathery finish. Hold.

Big nose of blackberry, black raspberries and cedar, on the palate lots of stewed black fruits, just a bit of earth and well structured tannins
