Badass 97 Togni that drank as well as any Bordeaux that I've had recently. Forest floor, dark fruit., not quite a dirty diaper nose as my bud Jason Chang would say but close!! What a rockstar this was tonight. A sleeper that snuck up on everyone and stole the show. Everyone at the end of the night was saying... Anymore Togni?!?!

If you like Bordeaux like napa Cabernets this is your wine. I continue to believe this is best bang for your buck. Family run and the wine is built to last. I wouldn’t touch a bottle under the age of ten. This 97 was amazing. It still had some tannins but was so well balanced with graphite, red fruit, some mocha as it sat in the glass. Then licorice, cedar and spice. Get involved. This bottle has another decade in it.

Herbal, meaty, fascinating nose. Still plenty of fruit and nice weight on the palate.
