I absolutely appreciate the toasted hazelnuts and butterscotch on the nose, but I should of used those 90 dollars towards a Montrachet. It was missing the freshness, a little lift and bright acidity that I’m used to seeing from this producer.

2014 vintage. Savory and slightly oaky stone fruits with a touch of pineapple and a luscious feeling finish. Would merit a higher score if it had better acidity and structure, the.lack of which makes it seem a bit less focused and precise. Still, very nice, but wishing it had a bit more "punch".
