Sweet oak overpowering what was likely some nice fruit. Decent basic Pinot, and likely very good for those with a Cali pinot bent.

Very good. Paired with ... well this was a weird food night cause the kids had pizza delivered by the time I got home and I had planned organic beef burgers so this was paired with cheeseburger (American cheese, Dijon mustard, no bun) and two slices of pizza.

I give this a 10 for the price point. “Go-to” choice for a dinner wine through the week. I love the light Smokey notes with the dark cherry. Pairs nicely with dark chocolate or I love it with grilled pork chops and Brussels sprouts.
