Tonight is the 2015 Bandol Rose Domaine de La Bastide Blanche a blend of Mourvedre, Cinsault and Grenache.

The nose is very floral and fruit forward with notes of strawberry, raspberry, peach, tangerine, blood orange, red currant, spice and minerality.

If this tastes as good as it smells it can be a fantastic find. On the palate the wine is crisp and dry there is creamy red berries, strawberry, raspberry, fleshy floral notes, spice and river rock.

The wine has a medium + acidity with a medium crisp finish. A very nice rose that would be great in the summer with some fresh fish over looking the Mediterranean.

Have a great hump day and enjoy the rest of the week. Nostrovia! 🍷🍷🍷

Last of our case of 2015. At its peak, softened tannins, excellent aromatics, complexity. Drink now. Pure pleasure.

A smooth, playful rose with strawberry, predominating, green apple in the middle, and an alcoholic, anise finish. Nice!

2015 - $30
Not a bargain! But that nose...! Stone fruit, honeysuckle, melon, ripe peach, and so much floral! I'd like more acid, but definitely has some bitterness as well on the finish.

Probably one of the best fresh rosés out there, for me.

Agree with the pervious reviewer who describes this as being in a "fat, glycerin style". Best served cellar temp, so many great herbal notes, deep, while being refreshing at the same time.
