Talk about relative value, the '13 Offerus punches well above its price point, shows gorgeous varietal character and really speaks of terroir. All of this from a region that seems to be losing its identity. The nose was remarkably pretty with pepper-infused black fruit, violets, charred meat and smoke. On the palate I found lifted textures with a mix of zesty acidity and tart blackberry, before turning more floral and mineral driven. Hints of tannin, notes of herbs and olive defined with finish, with a savory meatiness that lasted long. A seriously good QPR.

A paradox of precision and mystery. Vivid dark bramble fruit and cracked black pepper mixed with an exotic and ever-changing floral, marinated olive, and forest floor that is pleasing, both on the surface as well as intellectually.

Great Syrah for the price. Black, blue, and red fruit. Great tannins, medium acid, very balanced.

Great offering! Nose is BBQ'd, campfire with underripe black cherry and blackberry fruit, herbal depth. Palate is balanced. Ahhh yes. More please.
