A bit reduced, tight and off-balance. Barrel nose and annoyed palate. After it got some air it started behaving and treated me to some classic red Beaune — luscious, tender, velvety yet lean and angular at times. Was perfect with guinea hen topped with foie gras, smoked bacon, some soy and acacia honey glaze. #aitfrance #lapremiere

Ruby light red with brownish tint; decadent nose with not so much red fruit but rather dark fruit and hints of mushroom, saline and rubbery minerality and some oak - all a bit disjointed; all confirmed on the palate with frontoftheteeth tannins and moderate acid structure. A bit disappointed, I score this at 84.

Körsbär, vanilj, köttigt, som när man rostar mandel men den inte blir helt klar och lite för mjuk, kanel, muskot, träigt, vitpeppar. Ganska kort eftersmak men det lilla man får har en fadd ton som sänker betyget en aning.
