This wine overachieves. Cherry, underbrush, sassafras, touch of oak spice, violets, med/mild tannin and nice acid. This wine rocks! Thanks Doug :)

Perhaps "just" a Bourgogne Rouge, but it takes me to a very happy place. Boxwood, exotic spice, tree bark, thoroughly vinous and heartily Burgundian.
