Never had this Diamond Mountain Nickel & Nickel before. Amazed that N&N is able to stay with their lighter style even with this mountain fruit

May be my favorite of the Nickel &Nickel cabs to date. Immense flavor. Dark and intense yet beautifully balanced. I wish I had a case!

Dark, inky mountain juice. Blueberries, spices, oak. Outstanding wine -- my favorite N&N of recent memory.

Love it. Open up nicely, with smooth flavors of dark berries, a hint of cedar, and soft tannins. Drinks well now but will only get better in a few years. Stock it up. Happy Easter!

Deep, dark ink coloration. On the nose, currant, blackberry, blueberry, nutmeg and oak. Very fragrant, like wild flowers. On the palate, plum, currants, oak, and roses with a very long finish with those same flavors gaining depth. Mild, balanced tannins. From the color and nose I expected this to be a big wine. It was more mild than expected and balanced. Nevertheless an excellent wine.
