The 95 Hayne Petite Syrah is almost black with a beefy, mineral nose with a hint of plum underneath. On the palate, it was surprisingly thin and not very vibrant with peppery notes and dark fruit emerging over time. Not as concentrated as other Hayne PS but doesn’t seem last it’s prime either.

gorgeous deep purple in the glass, luscious grape smokey smoothness, --especially liked the last waft & sip --it was earthy and fungal- the entire bottle very enjoyable! thanks C.Lawrence for this selection.
