Maderized on the second day, cooked fruits and ripe expression. Oak is nicely aggressive.

Wow. What a terrific celebration wine. Such finessed power. Decanted & opened up after an hour. Very floral. Also pears & river rocks. Paired beautifully with this sea urchin sauce I had been saving for just such a moment 😊...many years left to go on this one!!

this used to be the great value white grand cru but has suffered from significant pricing increase coupled with a horrible track record of premox. This, however, is an excellent bottle, a little herbal from the vintage but clean and with a good backbone of acidity, citrus, and nice complexity. Not the level of 85/86, but happily a solid white Burg.

Pale Gold with great clarity. Honeyed notes with mineral and a hint of dairy. Fully developed mature flavours and texture. Palate is medium dry, citrus and mineral with M- acidity. Good drinking now and for a few more years but don't think that extended cellaring would be beneficial.

We are drinking this at room temp and it's stunning how much more flavor is manifest. Super pale translucent color. A spicy apple pear white floral magic.

Just a hint of ripe apple but still retaining so much structure, persistence and complexity.

Shipped from the Domaine Nov '14. Great freshness while showing some maturing hints. Apple, with notes of lemon custard and a touch of ginger. Quite delicious.
