Sauternes Sémillon-Sauvignon Blanc Blend

Hoping for a little more complexity but pleasant.

This was flat and a little mushy. Wasn't giving up much love or action. Flashback to my Junior prom.

Sauternes from 2006, perfect color. Excellent nose: very citrus, exotic fruits, honey, and a hint of saffron too. Very rich in the mouth: buttery, "fat" but with very well balanced acidity. I loved it!! 89/100

Not the biggest or most complex sticky but great with a gooey cheese plate. Big pineapple pop on this one.

The Guiraud's color always looks so appetizing. Deep amber color. Forward nose of honey, apricot and orange marmalade. Full body with strong acidity that prevents the sweetness from being cloying. The acidity shows a little bit on the long finish. Great. From a half-bottle.
