This bottle was a pop and pour and it certainly didn't last very long in the line-up. From my one and only glass: milk chocolate covered cherries, baking spices, leather, earth, and mushrooms. Honestly, I wish I could have spent a couple of hours with it because there seemed to much more to unpack. I just love the wines from LdH.

Cigar, orange peel, dried rose, tea and baking spice. Bright acidity and lively with aromas and flavors that are true to type. Interesting and quaffable.

The best of a Bosconia for me, nicely open and so easy to keep sniffing and sipping. I always end up finding this needs a little more time open to drink pleasurable, in its proper state. Very good normally but this day it was great!

Most body and tannin,higher altitude that comes through in a more structured palate. Bosco = forest, bottled in the 5th year and is only a Reserva, though a Gran Reserva has been made a few times. 30-40k production Cinnamon, Damson, red fruits, cherry with a brilliant brightness. Excellent acidity and firm, dry tannins that need a little more time in bottle to mellow. Though enjoyable now so if you decide to drink, decant for at least an hour. #bosconia#lopezdeheredia
