Very approachable in its (relative) youth. A little matchstick at first then pure puckery yellow green fruit filtered through limestone and spattered onto a field of white flowers. Could go another decade easily but no need to wait

When you want an approachable F Cotat in youth, go for Caillottes. Chalky soils make for softer style, thus it doesn't "need food."

Reduction love, a must. Chablis meets Sancerre. Crushed rocks, etherial lemongrass nose and palate.

Lovely ripe citrus, fleshy and generous body, some charming herbal notes - maybe lemongrass or cut flower stem, a touch of melon rind, all on a sturdy mineral frame that provides a firm, dynamic scaffolding that allows for exceptional balance. Like many Chavignols, a richer expression of Sancerre blanc, with plenty to talk about besides screaming acidity.

Perfumed with lime and slight sweetness of pear and acidity which carries on to the finish. Should have given this much more air to fully develop
