Had a slight funk that eventually blew off to reveal aromas of tea leaves, cedar, and pencil shavings. Unfortunately, slightly past prime, but still shows a medium body. Acids are all gone, and it is quite mellow. Flavors are still instructive, showing what was once ripe blackberry. Glad to try it!

Sadly, quite past it. Fruit has fallen away, leaving wood and tannin, though perhaps more mellow than that sounds. Instructive.
