Aromatic and dense, couldn't get past all the cracked pepper. Probably a better pair with a hunk of meat, rather than a burrito.

I have been sitting on this awhile so I was looking forward to trying this style. Not yet enjoyed this wine before. I liked it but didn’t love it. Peppery and with clear but mellow meat notes. It was solid and I suspect would have been better with a more appropriate food pairing (I had a homemade turkey burger with it). Will look forward to the next time.

Nov 7th, 2015An absolute masterpiece! It has a very spicy nose with a note of jalapeño. It has a massive and complex flavor with pepper, leather, and blackberries. It will only get better with time.
