A white from my favorite Bordeaux producer. Try their second red (Pagodes) - this made me understand the difference in using mostly new oak vs not for aging.

Restrained, tight and focused. Structure is superb, the crunchy acidity reminds of great Sancerre. Remarkable mineral drive and a good finish. Will flesh out hopefully in the next couple of years but great now. 95 points
