Delicious stuff. Rich dark blackberry fruit, with some smoke and camphor. A hint of heat comes through on the finish, along with a mineral or iron note. Labeled as 14.5% bit I doubt that. Kind of a two glasses is enough wine, however...

This has aged with grace. Resolved tannins, bramble blue fruit, blackberries, and red plums, followed by a sweet brioche note. The blue fruit shines on the palate and it has a pleasant roundness without being flabby. Pleasurable now, but on the downside of its drinking window. One bottle left for a cool night to come.

A little short and somewhat disappointing compared to the ‘04 which I’ve enjoyed several times. @Delectable Wine my pix are still fuzzy

2005 Vintage. From Magnum. Winemaker Ben Glaetzer made a big wine that needed time and this was singing at the party as well.
