Cottá Barbaresco Nebbiolo

As truffles were on the menu at dinner last night we had to have a wine from Piedmont, and Sottimano's Cotta was delicious. A bright cherry taste melded with leather. Real intensity in this wine. Very long finish.

For the long haul

Clear, day bright and pure ruby, medium minus concentration and medium plus viscosity.
Clean, medium intensity aromas of red cherry, red currant, rose, clove, candy, lather.
Dry, medium body and medium plus alcohol, medium plus acidity and medium plus tannin, medium finish and medium complexity. This wine is simple, light and fresh. $588

A wonderful Barbaresco, ready to sip, fresh and charming, oak not reconized, nice afterglow.

This is the king of Baberas... Stunning, flowy in the trap, taste sensation. The baroness fell in love again when she tasted this..... And not with me..
