Il Blu Cabernet Sangiovese Blend

Generous and very polished.

Well made wine. The Cab and Merlot here mostly dominated the Sangiovese which is not a surprise.

Quite deep ruby , light pink touch of garnet rim. Red cherry , floral , slightly herby character . On the palate more of the cherries , nicely gritty tannins , with a saline touch . Peppery red fruits , quite satisfying acidity and gritty tannins . Seems quite young though at an enjoyable stage . Good

Great wine. I have reviewed before dark cherry with a little spice, so well balanced and well rounded. Joy to drink

Pretty big, rich and ripe. I would prefer less Cab and Merlot and less Oak!
