Oct 20th, 2019Needs 4.5 hours of slow of this 1995 Rousseau Clos De Beze has an alluring nose with signature cherry and Asian spices. On the mouth is is beautifully balanced hiding under a cemetery cloak a powerful and muscular strain though well takes by the cloak. An impressive finish

Jan 1st, 2018Tasted blind next to La Turque 95. Medium ruby showing signs of age. Spicy peppery nose, wild strawberries and blackberries, forest floor, and piney, balsamic notes. Opens up with time in glass. Gorgeous sweetness on mid palate, structured and tight in the mouth showing substantial tannin. Long finish. A remarkably well built wine, clearly intended for the long haul and with many more years to go!

Dec 20th, 20171995 Domaine Armand Rousseau Clos de Beze burgundy. Drank at lunch at Reddwood. Wasn't supposed to be a fantastic year, but this wine killed it. It was awesome and surprised K. Awesome.
