Lots of pleasure here, but built for the long haul. Broad and powerful with a core of all red fruit. Generally more reliant on its structure than heady floral-perfume aromatics for its quality. Lives up to its pedigree, for sure, but I generally prefer aromatic to structure-focused burgundy. Oak is supportive but definitely present, in-line with its structural pedigree.
