From very old vines. Deep, classic, intense. Dark, dark fruits with iron. Nice now, but can go for many more years.

1991 vintage. Decanted and tasted after two hours. Still with plenty of medium body/weight. Good amount of earth interspersed with dark fruits and excellent concentration on the finish. Grippy in all the right places and tasting like it’s on the tail end of the optimal zone. Maybe another 3-4 years in current state. 3.24.23.
