Maple syrup, carmel, almond. Rich and explosive. Overall, reminds me of a great tawny, but has a sherry-like grip.

Enjoyed this in an outstanding modern restaurant in Lisbon called Leopold. Well worth the uphill climb for this place and a solid fortified white wine.
